JOBS Job Title – Receptionist/Administration Assistant About the Role We are a small family run window manufacturing company, looking for a dedicated Receptionist to handle customer-facing duties as well as general office management tasks. When customers walk into the office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Duties • Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the correct offices, taking messages when required. • Monitor/deal with incoming emails and distribute to relevant staff. • Book appointments via outlook and also enter onto our software database. • Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing. • Undertake photocopying, filing, archiving documents and petty cash handling. • Greet customers as soon as they arrive, handle enquiries or connect them with the appropriate party. • Manage stationery stock and re-ordering. About you • 2+ years’ experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant. • Ability to create organised filing system. • Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner. • Good organisational skills, happy multi-tasking. • Friendly, approachable, and calm. • Team player and self-motivated. • Competent IT skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office software. • Eager to learn new skills and are keen to get stuck in. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
