Kitson Windows recently added trust mark to it's already impressive list of officially recognised quality standards.
TrustMark is an initiative between government, consumer groups and industry to help people find reputable firms to do repair, maintenance and improvement work inside and outside the home.
TrustMark is based around a set of government endorsed standards.
When a firm displays the TrustMark logo it signifies that the scheme operator has checked the firm's technical skills, trading record and financial position. The firm has signed up to a code of practice that includes insurance, good health and safety practices and customer care.
The scheme operator has checked and will continue to monitor the firm's quality of work, trading practices and customer satisfaction.
The firm will tell customers about any building regulations they must meet and may also be able to give the certificates they need.
The Berwick showroom site was moved from it's previous location in Woolmarket to a brand new unit in the Ramparts Business Park.
Whilest the town-centre showroom had served Kitson customers well for over ten years, the new site will facilitate easier free parking and adjoining storage for trade customer collections.
Customers will be able to view the latest in conservatory products and see the new generation of environmentally-friendly, energy efficiency 'A' rated frames.
Berwick Branch Manager John Currah and Berwick Receptionist Rosemary Hodder look forward to welcoming all Kitson customers, past and present, to the new showroom.
Although Kitson Windows very rarely advertise - prefering to rely on the referals
from clients over the last 28 years, we were very happy to support the new local, community radio station 'Lionheart Radio' in Alnwick which broadcasts on 107 . 3 FM.
This new revolutionary glass can now be incorporated into Kitson double glazed units at a minimal charge to enable the action of sunlight and rain to keep the glass clean!
This saves time, money, inconvenience and the use of harmful detergents affecting the environment.

Having been awarded ISO 9001 back in 1998, this year sees our additional accreditation to ISO 14001 - which is good news for the environment, good news for our customers and good news for us. We are one of only a handful of businesses within our industry to reach this standard.
Our 'New Generation' frames have been designed to be 99% recyclable while still able to achieve an 'A' rating in the proposed new government energy rating legislation.
One of the most effective ways to minimise environmental risks, meet legislative requirements and demonstrate corporate governance, is through the implementation of an environmental management system (EMS).
Certification to the internationally recognised EMS standard, ISO 14001 is becoming a preferred choice for organisations looking to demonstrate their environmental credentials.
The new customer showroom entrance was opened in January
Featuring the new Pilkington Activ glazing it will serve as a test bed for this revolutionary glass before offering it to our customers. The 'curtain-Wall' system frames have been designed to utilise K argon filled low iron units which make the structure so energy efficient that it will require no heating during winter despite facing North and benefiting from only minimal solar gain.
